Ways You Can Help Your Club

Volunteering

The club is always welcome of any help our members can give in terms of their time, their support or funding.

We are always seeking more help so please get in touch with us if you can give your club some time and lend a hand.

It is important to us that we have your correct contact details so you can receive the weekly club newsletter and stay up to date with club happenings throughout the year.

While we appreciate that not everyone can coach a team and not everyone has time to attend meetings there are other very practical ways in which you can help your club continue to grow for the benefit of our members, the local community and our club heritage. We are currently seeking volunteers and solutions for the following:

Game Day Management Coordinator – Senior games

This year the CRFU have introduced Game Day Management Protocols. Designed to ensure that all participants in the game are able to enjoy their rugby experience in a safe environment. We are currently seeking volunteers to attend all our Senior home games each Saturday and be our designated Game Day Management Coordinator. You can view the full Game Day Management document here for more information.

Match Report Writer – Premier Men

This season the CRFU have made the decision to do away with match day reporting. We would still like our members (both near and far) to be able to read about our team’s performance on a weekly basis during the season. We are currently seeking a volunteer to attend our Premier Men’s games on a Saturday afternoon and provide a detailed match report to our Club Administrator by the following Tuesday for the weekly club e-newsletter.

Game Day Photographers – Senior and Junior

We are keen to hear from anyone who captures any of our players in action each week. If you are happy for your images to be shared amongst our members both in our club newsletter and on our Facebook page we would love to hear from you.

Storage Solutions – Junior Playing gear

The junior club has a steady membership base of 200+ young players each season. We are currently seeking an area that is secure and dry for storage of playing and training equipment that key people can access readily throughout the year. If you think you can assist in this area please contact us using the form below.

If you would like further information about any of the positions listed above or wish to contribute in this way please click here to contact us. Listed below are some of the other ways you can help:
