POSITION VACANT: RUGBY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (RDO)

RUGBY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (RDO) – MARIST ALBION RUGBY CLUB

Marist Albion Rugby Club is seeking to appoint a Rugby Development Officer (RDO) to join an innovative team focussed on taking Marist Albion Rugby forward. This person will work specifically with the recently formed Rugby Operations Group, a subcommittee formed as a result of a recent review at the club.

As Rugby Development Officer, you will play a key role in the recruitment, retention and development of players at the club. As well as this, you will coordinate and monitor the Marist Albion rugby programme. This role requires the establishment of positive working relationships within and outside the club at a local and regional level.

We believe the ideal candidate for this role will be self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic about rugby. You will be passionate about making a positive difference to a club that wants to start competing at the highest levels of all the grades it competes in.

The successful candidate will need to have demonstrated an ability to build strong relationships and deliver results. Additionally, the candidate will also have a sound knowledge and experience of rugby specific systems and processes within a rugby club environment. Above all you will need to be aspirational, strategic, well organised and have excellent communication skills.

If you would like to combine your love of rugby with work and be part of a progressive club in a supportive work environment, then please forward your CV and cover letter to Jo McKenzie at admin@maristalbion.co.nz. Job Description is available on request.

Applications will close on Friday 7th September 2018 at 5pm.
